Bread is one of the most commonly made baked foods in the world. Every culture has some version of bread. Some are more unique than others. In the Republic of Georgia bread is baked on the inside walls of giant super-heated ovens. Each loaf is unique, chewy, fragrant and quite large.

In the United States, most bread is baked in large factories. Fortunately, there are many boutique bakeries making artisan styled breads as unique as the traditional bread of the Republic of Georgia.
